A SET BACK

We are sitting here at the clinic in our local town, Lee has caught a cold that seems to be headed for his lungs, and he cannot keep any food down. We are here for IV fluid, and antibiotics. He also has a hard time sleeping. Our doctor said he can be treated outpatient for a few days, and if things don't improve he will be admitted. I have been in contact with our transplant clinic so they too are aware of the situation.

We were hopeful about a nice Thanksgiving this year, but unless things turn around, it will be another difficult one.

The news is not all bad, Lee is still in complete remission!!!! We were at our Transplant Clinic last week, things are looking good in that respect, but weakened immune system can be a dangerous complication. He just needs to get over this virus and stay away from others until his strength has returned.

Halloween Weekend

We went up to the cabin this weekend since we didn't have school on Thursday or Friday, and we celebrated Halloween there. It was very fun! On Halloween, we played games like Take Two, The Flour Game, Pass the Pigs, and I played Life with my mom. We also went to the library and rented some movies. We got "The Mummy" (Creepy! haha I liked it though!). So we ate pizza and candy while we had a double feature of "The Mummy" and "Hocus Pocus". We watch "Hocus Pocus" every year, and it is my favorite! I think it is so fun! Our Halloween was great, hope yours was fun too!
