Roller Coaster Ride

Well, Lee is now back in the hospital. Saturday he didn't seem quite like himself, by today he was running a fever and when asked by the doctor if he would like to stay in the hospital, we both answered yes. Since then the fever has gotten higher and he seems increasingly more tired and cannot keep food down.

They have drawn what seems to be an enormous amount of blood, (like 9 Tabasco bottles full! sorry about the thought, but that is really what they looked like!). They also did a chest xray, I don't believe they have left any stone unturned.

Then they put him on IV fluids and vancomycin. We were hoping to get by without any secondary infections. The good news is he has near normal white cell count, so his body can help the antibiotics fight the infection.

An aside, Robert came to visit for the weekend, it was really nice to spend time with him. He is such a thoughtful son and we needed the diversion.

Keep praying for us!

I pray for you every day. I'll put your names in the temple again tomorrow.
